Silhouette of the city at dusk. Summer in the Philippines is hot, as in super hot. Humid. The clothes sticking to the skin kind of humid even if night time has arrived. Gah!

City at Dusk

Thinking about it makes me want to grab a glass of “halo-halo” shaved ice with sweetened fruit and ice cream as toppings.

On the other hand, I’d rather we have the summer heat than the rainy season which brings flooding. We can do something about the heat but are helpless when the floodwaters are here.

Are there any other seasons besides hot and dry in the Philippines? Had thought it was summery all year round, to be honest! :O

Very beautiful shot. I have trouble with our hot humid summer but usually it doesn’t last too long here.

It has been colder than usual here and we long for summer… but then… I hope we can pause a little in spring.. warmer days but still cooler nights… the kind of weather I like to open windows and feel the breeze. Mine is here.
