For the Spot Pass Trinoma Bloggers Food Trip, of Spot.Ph event, our first stop was The Madison Grill located on level 3.

I love the interiors. The table setting was simple, the chairs were nice to sit on and the staff are of course, friendly. They first served us thin-crust pizza with lamb, olives, onions and cheese. The pizza was tasty. Customers may choose to make their own pizza using 10 or 16 inches pizza dough. Their pizza toppings are fresh and harvested daily because these are prepared produce (according to the flyer).

Below is the pizza preparation table:

See how fresh the bell peppers are? I just had to include this photo since I love these two vegetables.

the olive oil is still sizzling when these were served

One of the pizza preparations which was served.

does not have that lamb aftertaste feel

Braised lamb shank with Oriental spices.

I like this place and I can say that the food is great and would definitely love to come back. But…on second thought, the prices are a bit too high for me.

Every Saturday, participants posts photos based on a theme. The them for this Saturday, April 26, 2008 is UNIQUE/FUNNY signs. I am going with the unique since I will feature the restaurants we went to.

This Friday, bloggers were invited by Spot.Ph to have a dining experience like no other called SPOT PASS BLOGGERS TOUR. To those of us to were able to registered early, we were able to participate in an exclusive bloggers food trip at the Trinoma Mall, which is a few minutes from where we live.

The following are photos of unique signs of the restaurants that we were able to visit from 2pm - 8pm:

Yummy pizza and braised lamb.

The Madison Grill where you can make your own pizza on a table with lots of pizza toppings to choose from.

Love the interiors and the food.

Haiku where I asked for a fork for my sushi since I can’t learn how to use chopsticks :D

The ribs were succulent and so tasty.

La Maison, Home of the Best Ribs, Steaks and Seafood.

Yummy steak too. Cute Mini Ruby burgers.

Still more yummy ribs at Ruby Tuesday.

Love that Chicken General.

Chicken General was one of those we had in Recipes at Cafe Metro.

Greek cuisine, yummy! Opa!

Skolatina is molten chocolate cake that we had for dessert at Cyma. Wow.

Yummy desserts.

The cheesecake is good here in Holy Cow / Jack’s Loft.

If you love shrimp, this is the place.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant is a great place for the family.

Red Box, for the karaoke singing people.

TGI Friday’s. For some. More work for me on a Saturday. Sigh.

Getting tired already. But we had to stop for Italianni’s Spinach and Artichoke Formaggio :)

Good thing we tasted their fish and mussels. One of the best we had for this event.

Try the fish and chips. And the baked mussels. Only from Fish & Co.

So many ice cream toppings to choose from.

I had my vanilla ice cream with Hershey’s Kissables at Cold Rock.

Good! We had our doughnuts to go!

Krispy Kreme. It is already past 7pm. And its good that KK had our donuts in paper bags for take out.

Good, we can take home the food.

Five Cows was the place where The Eating Club (our club) first went to.

Last stop. So tired.

Last stop. So tired wasn’t even able to take a good photo. Its past 8pm and it seems not a good idea to drink coffee after eating and walking and taking 349 photos.

Thanks Cookie for being a great companion. I hope I can make it on Monday for another round of these :D

I hope you don’t have unique signs of stomach growling ;) I canceled my sessions with my students today because hubby, Julian and I are going to attend the iBlog4 Summit. Have a great weekend everyone.

Here are the other participants in the blog event with their posts:

Doc Tess Azrael Ed Yumified Joy

This was the first story we did last week for the Narrative Storytelling Group for this summer. 6 more to go. I will write a post about the second story which we did yesterday ( I hope I don’t forget to do so).

Andrew and Jane are siblings who have lots of toys. When Jane’s doll was broken they took a journey to Toyland to see the Toymender so that they can have their toys fixed. They travel to see many different kinds of lands: Land of Sweets, Land of Goblins, Land of Upside Down, Land of Birds, and finally to the Toyland.

They saw lots of broken toys in the Toyland Hospital. They even saw their old and broken wooden toy puppet. They promised to take care of this puppet and they began their journey home. When they got home, they thought they were dreaming until they saw their broken and old wooden puppet looking like new.

The Magic Train

The Land of Sweets, done by my son, Julian. The pink trees are made of cotton candy so we used crumpled pink Japanese papers to put some body into the illustrations.

This is one of the toy soldiers guarding the gates of Toyland. The coloring and decorations on the trees were made by another student in the group, J.

“We love our planet”, so we say, because it is the only one we got. But do we do things to help our planet survive? Maybe this planet will survive, and everything in it will survive because the planet will evolve, will change, just as it had done millions of years ago. Except, maybe the inhabitants, and these inhabitants mean us, the people.

Mid-morning city sight, the metro is engulfed with smog. I thought this happens more frequently in Beijing. I’m wrong. This happens more often as I observe as we travel to work.

Can you see the fog further there?

I thought the smog was just visible further from where we were n the bridge. I was wrong.

Still more fog on the ground level. Ugh.

This is ground level and guess what, that farthest building on the left side is enveloped with smog.
