What a fun night it was to be with friends, eating good food and having wonderful conversation. Last Friday night (January 25, 2008), we, Cookie, Lynn, Chateau and Wenchie with little Pio trooped to Bellissimo Ristorante Italiano located in Tomas Morato area in Quezon City, for a dinner and to informally launch The EATING CLUB. Hmmm…this promises to be a fun series of gastronomic adventures.

Pio (partly hidden) The Sweet Life or Rowena, TeacherJulie (me), Avocado Express or Lynn, Cesar (the owner) Scrooch Chronicles or Cookie and IMom or Chateau.

INTERIOR

That was hanging on the wall behind me. Interesting interior they got, with wonderful catchy music playing in the background. It was as if one was transported in time in Brooklyn, where the Mafia bosses were sitting in bars, smoking their pipes and talking in hush tones. I was even wondering if there was a secret room where a game of cards is going on :D

Paintings hanging on the wall which is a part of the Philippine Art Central and Panaghoy Children Foundation which had the affair that night we dined there. Nope,I didn’t know what the affair was until I read the small notice on that photo I took.

It is very nice to sit down and not have to wipe dirty faces and grit my teeth when the little ones are starting to get on each other’s nerves. And, now that this is gong to be a series of adventures, I gotta get up and work on my having my big bulky lower body front (screaming, screeching BILBIL!) have room for these foodies :D

It was a wonderful sunset view on January 4, 2008 that I had on my inlaw’s rooftop deck as I waited for my husband and children to come pick me up. They stayed in the house while I stayed in hubby’s family’s house to have my Enrichment sessions with my students.

When they arrived, we went to TriNoma. I saw Lynn on the way to Five Cows Resto and Ice Cream Bar where we will have our dinner. Hubby and the kids are going to spend some time at TimeZone, an arcade place where the children love to play Air Hockey and Battle Gear while I am going to spend some time with friends I met through blogs: Cookie, Chateau and Lynn. Rowena wasn’t able to make it because her child Gabby got sick. Cess, on the other hand had a party to go to. One of our common denominators aside from being mommy bloggers is that we are members of PinoyMomsNetwork.

Lynn, me (nope, I am NOT preggers, just have this bulk that won’t go away :D), Chateau and Cookie

We had a great time getting to know each other more. More because funny but we know a lot about each other through our blog posts even if we do not send time with each other in person. We were hungry I guess and forgot to take photos of the food we had :D We only thought of doing that for dessert.

We vowed will be doing this on a regular basis. In fact we just had a dinner last Friday night (January 25, 2008) which I still have to write about. And the post is now published here.

People who shop online has probably found a great discovery: Zenni Optical. Why would a website selling prescription glasses online considered as one of the best thing found: Zenni Optical when doing online shopping?

zenniglassesphp.jpg

Simply because there are a lot of good offers ranging from Zenni Optical $8 Rx Glasses to a huge collection of frames like sunsensor, tinted sunglasses, bifocal lens, progressive lens and single vision lens. Their prescription glasses have high quality stylish frames, anti-scratch coating, full UV protection and come in quality hard eyeglass case.
