Shelved under My Family, Snapshots

My daughter Tania was requested to be a flower girl in the wedding of my daughter Trixie’s baptismal godfather last Friday, December 28, 2007. We did not attend the wedding but we asked my MIL and SIL to look after her. The groom’s family and hubby’s family are connected because the groom’s brother and hubby’s sister are married.

She had an appointment at the salon where she also had her hair and makeup done when she was a flower girl to my BIL’s wedding last May 2007.

Here is a photo below showing her being made-up.

We are off to Iba, Zambales in a few hours for me to attend my alma mater’s Grand Alumni Homecoming. Here I studied from Kindergarten to Senior High School under the tutelage of nuns, priests and a variety of teachers.

First four batches coordinator is my aunt, my father’s youngest sibling. Coordinator for batches 95-99 is my brother. Where does that leave me? Try 85-89. My, how time flies so fast.
Here I have friends and classmates, even if I don’t get to see often, are like brothers and sisters to me because we have grown up together, shared our dreams, laughters, fears, triumphs, failures, and joys.

Every Saturday, participant post photos based on a theme. The theme for the last Saturday of 2007, December 29, is MESSY.

Every first Monday of the month, in an e-zine called Pinoy Moms Network (Pinoy is slang for Filipino) where I am a writer/contributor, we have Family Pics sharing. December’s theme was MESSY. Please click below to view a little of our messy home but happy family life with my fun and messy entries:

My apologies if I can’t sneak some time to visit today, we travel to my hometown in about 3 hours or so (around 3am) to attend my school’s Alumni Homecoming Event.

I wish everyone a Happy New Year. May you be blessed more with love, joy and peace of mind for the coming 2008. Thank you for the wonderful stories behind your photos, for the kind words in your comments and for the virtual friendship shared through our photos.
