Cisco Linksys E1000 Wireless-N Router with Parental Control Review and Giveaway

We didn’t have a router before but the techie hubby tinkered with my laptop and made it the “router” where everyone can connect to the internet. This gave me a bit of a headache because there are times when I myself can’t connect whereas they are still connected through me. So I had to wait for them (all other three of them) to logout just so I can restart my laptop. Argh! isn’t it?

I honestly don’t know (not the techie in this household) but we use OpenDNS in our home so some sites are not accessible (I can’t even open t.co shortened links from Twitter because OpenDNS blocks these) especially with some keywords and tricky terms

Wifi but not at home. At the Mcdonalds store beside our home.

3) Yep, an earlier Linksys / Cisco wireless router
4) AOTA. My research had always pointed me to either Cisco or Belkin when it came to connection devices. But since Cisco’s prices are friendlier to the pocket, I’ve always gone Cisco (my first was a Cisco USB wireless dongle).
