Ok, no more sunflowers today, though for me it is more welcome to have these because the weather has been bleak.

This plant is a kind of weed that grows near where the sunflowers can be found :)

I know the photo looks blurred and so below is the photo cropped and zoomed:

Help, anyone, on what this is called. My 7yo son says it is a dandelion but I am not really sure.

Teacher J, you are getting good with the scrapping. And yes it is so when the flower heads are dried. It has also some medical uses. I gave up digital scraps, I will just be lurking on the entries.

I always say that dandelions are my favorites - they are the only flowers my children can touch and pick to give to me without anyone ever getting angry at them for ruining their flowers. :) The leaves also have a very high nutritional content…though are pretty bitter to eat. Great photo!
