It’s the boy’s birthday today. As I have written here, we brought food to share in his class last Friday.
The giving of birthday food gifts is something that I feel is practical, and in fact, this practice should also be done during the holidays.
This is a great way to teach the older students some kitchen skills: baking goodies for personal consumption, or for the family members or maybe a small gathering of schoolmates and classmates.
These can be given as birthday food gifts to those classmates celebrating their birthdays.
These can be sold as well with the savings as class fund, if there is one.
I’m sure here are a lot more ideas to explore. One thing for sure, I am running out of ideas because I am too excited to be spending a special day with my family.
