One of the main attractions of the public swimming pools is a wave pool.

wave pool

The pool above is a wave pool. I just didn’t take a photo when the waves are there because I might damage the camera (which is now resting because guess what? it IS having some odd behavior).

A wave pool has artificial waves. This kind of pool looks like the beach with a shallow part where there are small bubbles/foams that form when the water reaches that point.

There are even wave pool resorts that offer surfing lessons.

Yep, surfing on a pool. You don’t get sand in your eyes or mouth but you bump your head on concrete floor. Ouch.

I never heard of wave pool, that’s pretty neat. You wont get kids out of the pool I’m guessing.

Happy weekend.

That’s a good one for the theme and looks like a great place for children in the summer, and adults too for that matter. Happy weekend.

I have only seen a wave pool once! I know teenagers loved it when we took them on a school excursion to inner Melbourne! There didn’t seem to be much room to swim! It seemed mainly a ride on waves! A great idea for the public theme!

I’ve never tried it but I’m sure it’s really fun.

The head bumping part doesn’t sound so good, but the rest does.

It does look like fun although I don’t know if I’d like scraping along the bottom or bumping my head either.

I think I’d rather get sand in my mouth than bump my head against the concrete floor! THis is a fun pool, where is this, Teach?
