I am a bit tired of the usual (read: average) pasta dishes. When I went to watch Dona Elena Cuisinera Club cooking class last Saturday, I made the dish they presented, Almond Crusted Tilapia Fillets and Pasta, with a few tweaking to suit what I have at home.

Pasta with Almond Crusted Fish Fillets

Here are the adjustments I made.

We had this last Wednesday night because we celebrated a special family occasion. When hubby arrived, he told me to get a package. I thought it was a Nintendo Wii, turned out it was a cake  :D

That looks and sounds delicious. Almond crusted fillets makes my mouth water. I had a standard pasta, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream dish I made tonight. Your dish sounds way above my average one.

This is a dish I would gladly eat. Can I have more? :D
Happy weekend!

Anything crusted in nuts is good, nothing average about that I agree.

That must have been a good date night with the hubster eh?

I’d say compared to a Nintendo Wii the cake was average, but that Tilapia looks a LOT better than average.

Thanks for visiting my blog.
