Last Sunday, my youngest daughter commented over a brunch of ham, eggs and fried rice that she noticed we have not been eating vegetables lately.
That tugged my heart because I have not been feeling well since Friday and have not had the chance to cook “real” food. Friday and Saturday are also busy days for me so we either have packed food that has no sauce (read: chicken tocino) or like last Saturday, we had food delivered.
I know we may have been missing on a lot of vitamins and minerals and that may have contributed to this bout of allergy which was made worse by the cloudy skies.
Before the hubby goes to work today, I made him promise to bring me to the market so I can get lemongrass for my tea plus more fruits and vegetables too.
For now, I think I need to go back to bed and snooze for a bit.
