We steer clear of anything that is undesirable, like polluting the air, my other entry, but I actually mean a different thing.

Renewal of Baptismal Promises

The Renewal of Baptismal Promises is one way to reject those which are not good for the soul and its Salvation. There are several occasions when these are recited by a congregation and first Communion is one of those.

Our only son had his first Communion rites today.

first Communion

This has been a bittersweet day for me. I am happy for my son who is growing up loving the Lord and never forgetting to pray. I am at the same time sad because this new milestone in his life means he is not a baby anymore.

Congratulations baby boy!

Ooops, pardon the slip.

Ooo I have a comforting verse for you, from one mother to another!

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. :D That comforts me.

Beautiful photos. What a wonderful time!

My Photo Hunt: Undesirable is up. I hope you have time to visit. Have a good weekend.

I’m like you, I hope we go a long long time before we have to tackle the undesirable theme again. Good (Sneaky) take on it though.

Very nice photos and thoughts for today.
They do grow up so fast! My babies are 39 and 43, and it just seems like yesterday……
