A Long Journey

First of all, I would like to send my condolences to us Filipinos for the passing away of our former president Corazon Aquino at 3:18am today. It has been a long journey for you but the things you have done for the country are things that we will not forget.

What do you do to entertain yourself (and your companions) during a long journey (my blog’s template name)?

We tell stories. Or turn on our favorite music. Or take photos.

What about you?

A close family friend by the way is running a long journey, the Rock ‘n Roll Chicago Half Marathon for the benefit of an orphanage in one of the provinces here in the Philippines. He does that not only for his fitness regimen but for a worthy cause too.

We don’t take long journeys now by car. We seem to go by plane everywhere.
But we used to play lots of games when our children were young.in the car. One child often read but the other would become sick if she did so we had to keep her entertained.

I hadn’t heard that Mrs. Aquino passed away. She was in our news all the time during her presidency and was a super-positive role model for women and young girls all over the world. What a great loss!

Nice post today for “Entertainment”. Of course, I certainly share the joy of photography.:-) And this week, I’ve got cheesecake…:-)

on a road trip, i listen to music and sing along to entertain myself. or take photos. on a long flight, i either read or watch movies.:P
