I copied and pasted this quote by Maya Angelou in my social networking site last night:

“Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning.”

Funny how one of my *RL friends commented that I am being “profound”

I replied back that it may be because my birthday is just a few days to go (yes, I am celebrating my birthday on the 14th but if you happen to read this, please don’t tell ) thinking it might be a certain number that makes me feel I have to be a bit profound.

I just hope it is not the time to consider having a disability insurance soon.

Anyway…

Well, I’d like to think I am profound, considering I am able to write intense posts that do not just reflect my thoughts but my feelings too.

In my own little ways I know I have touched the lives of people I have met and I have worked with.

I am well aware that I have my own toxic days when my temper flares as easily as a launching of a rocket in space. I know I can just probably bang my head on the wall for being such a brat but that would not be a good idea.

When these things happen (thank God, not very often), I realize I still have a lot of life lessons to learn myself.

I still have a long way to go, in terms of learning life lessons and teaching new ones. I hope that goes for my age too
