A friend who lives overseas recently asked me how am I doing. She said she read about this post that I have written.

Yes, I kinda miss the bustle and noise in the work place. I miss my students. I miss my friends. I miss the financial benefits. I even miss walking among steel buildings.

But then, on the other hand, I am not prone to early morning stress of making everyone hurry so we would not get caught in traffic and I would not arrive late.

We do not arrive home late anymore. We do not have to wait for hubby in a mall, risking getting sick with contained air. We do not feel very, very tired at the end of the day. I can even have more time to give to farm town blogging. And yes, house work.

Sure, I still go to work but only for a limited time which leaves me more time to homeschool the children. I still get financial benefits from my work though it may not be the same as before. I am not complaining even if I know the workaholic me needs some energy bursts.

Maybe in due time I will go back to teaching more than I can handle. :)
