One time, as I was looking at my photos, a student chanced upon me and saw the photo below which I have used in another Photo Hunt entry:

When he saw this photo, it was being tested as a desktop background and was occupying the whole screen of the laptop.

He asked me, “Teacher, is that a painting or those are real flowers?”

I smiled and told him these are real flowers.

Beautiful. I have never appreciated them back in PI, but now that I don’t see them that much except for photos online, I really find them delicate and soft and so gorgeous.

True, but the real flowers are nature’s way of painting the world around us.

I can see how he might think they were painted. Either way, they are beautiful, and would make a great desktop.

Beautiful! They look almost unreal, so I’m not entirely surprised at the question.

Sometimes it is hard to tell. No one can really paint a flower or a sky as beautifully as nature does. Mine is up here.
