We passed by a wake near our place and I found out that it was for a 25 year old guy who suddenly collapsed and didn’t make it to the hospital. Heart attack snuffed his life short. That happens to a lot of people, young or old. My SIL is in the hospital right now, having experienced high blood pressure.
We definitely do not want this to happen to our loved ones.
While you still can, you should…
Show your loved ones that you care for them and you love them, not just through hugs, kisses and words but through your actions. That goes for me too.
There are times that we take for granted the persons that we love. We forget to call them. We forget to show a little respect. We forget to make them feel loved.
It is time we take care of our selves more by doing a lifestyle check and trying healthy options rather than settling for mediocre system of care. We should also start teaching this to our children while they are still young.
This line has been tried, tested, said a million times: If you want change, start with yourself.
By the way, please say a prayer to those who are physically sick, like those with heart ailments, cancer conditions like mesothelioma and other forms of illnesses that linger for a long time.
Yes, life is short, but why make it shorter by not taking care of yourself better?
