One of the advantages of homeschooling my children is that we (my husband and I) get to go with them on field trips.

My other entry for walking is here.

Below is a photo my husband and my two homeschooling children taking a walk in the woods with other families who also home school. We do love going for walks when we have time.

The girl in light pink shirt is my youngest daughter. Beside her are my son and husband walking hand-in-hand on the hiking trail.

That must have been fun. I wish I could join my son on one of his field trips but the school doesn’t allow parents to join.

I love to get out into the woods for a good hike, but getting the kids to do it is a challenge. They spend the whole time complaining.

Lovely photo Julie. I don’t think I ever would have had the patience to homeschool my children.
But you do get to enjoy a lot of things together this way.
Happy weekend to you.
