Easter Sunday, to most people is the day that egg hunting is done. It is a day that symbolizes new beginnings, as the season of spring comes to a reality.

Easter Sunday like other special days like Christmas that should be celebrated with solemnity has been a victim of commercialization and pomp.

Easter Sunday is the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus, the proof that He is indeed the Son of God who was able to rise from the dead.

What really happened during Easter Sunday after the resurrection we don’t really know for there are different accounts in the Bible. But one thing is for sure, the affirmation of the faith of the Christians happened during this very special event.

It is written in the Bible in 1 Corinthians 15: 13-14 that “If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.”

Have a blessed Easter Sunday everyone!
