It used to be fun but as we grow older, it used to be corny. When we grow a little bit older, it would probably be fun to think about those things again

Lovely assignment, but I imagine it feels a bit awkward asking them to write you hehe… When we were kids and my mom was away working overseas, she’d get someone to deliver a heart-shaped cake for us right before we leave for school on Valentine’s!

When I was still teaching in a regular school, I look forward to Valentines because we get to make greeting cards for the parents and games during circle time. I also prepare loot bags for the kids. I had one Korean student though who gave everyone a special token (I got a cellphone bling bling) because apparently it’s an important occasion in their culture..
