My eldest daughter’s lunch for Monday consisted of Creamy Dory Fish Fillet, queso de bola (cheese ball) slices, bread, water and orange juice. She was supposed to buy rice from the canteen. Well, she was supposed to have her lunch there too but that didn’t happen.

Anyway, here’s the Fried Creamy Dory Fillet she had in her lunch box with a recipe here.

I had to photoshop this photo a bit because I had some difficulties taking the photo at 5:15am, was still groggy from sleep.

We got a call from her less than an hour after she got to school saying she wants to go home because she has a headache. This headache has been bothering her since Sunday night. Upon the nurse’s recommendation, we should see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible.

At first we thought it was because of the unusually chilly weather we have been having last week which became warm since the start of the weekend.

We were even thinking what comfort it would be to have an electric blanket to battle to chill although the comforter, which is due for a trip to the laundry shop, would do for now. Or maybe not since the weather has turned warmer.

I also like dory fillets. They’re affordable for one. But I was told that this kind of fish is dirty because they are bred in muddy waters. Well I don’t know if this should be of concern. Just thought I’d tell you.
