The FilipinoMomBlog.com’s Lunchbox Meme is back!

For the first school day of 2009, our packed lunch (even if I was not able to go to work) consisted of left-over pork or lechon from post-New Year lunch we had with the inlaws, cooked ala-lechon kawali (recipe here).

This is my eldest daughter’s Monday food: lechon kawali, Rosquillos biscuits from the Visayas and peanut butter sandwiches.

I love lechon kawali pero bawal na sa ‘kin. Hmm, pero I do give myself a treat once a week so I’ll give this one a try :)

That’s yummy Julie! It’s like lechon paksiw pero instead of lechon sauce, oyster sauce ang ginamot mo? I’ve never tried this, maybe soon. But then we don’t have lechon often , which is good hehe…
Rosquillos – nakakamiss!

iMom, I also used the bottled lechon sauce. Para lang mas malasa kaya nilagyan ko nung best friend in cooking ko, oyster sauce :D
