Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday, December 13, 2008 is FAVORITE.

My other entry for favorite would be some sweet cups I have served here.

One of the favorite subjects in my photos would be the moon.

December 12, 2008 full moon which I took a photo of a few minutes ago.

If full moon is one of my favorites, then sunset would be on top of my list of favorites too:

Sunset signals slowing down for most of us. Time to relax and rest our weary bodies and minds.

Christmas is just a few days away. This special day is one of my favorite days.

(Just the word sale which happen in a lot of places before this day is enough to make me excited too :D )

Christmas is a day we should be thankful for everything we have (and not have) in life. This is a day spent with one’s favorite (and uh, ok, to some, not favorite) people, our family and friends.

Our Christmas tree with some of the homemade tree ornaments that my children made.

What are your favorite things?

A very timely theme I might add, my youngest daughter just watched “Mary Poppins” on DVD a while ago and I want to share “My Favorite Things” lyrics.

Hi Teacher Julie,
Great shot of the moon there! I miss the sunsets in the Philippines. I’m homesick again. Sunrise and sunsets are luxuries around here because one actually has to go to the beach or near water to see them. Unlike in Baguio, I look out the window and I see the sun rising. Cute ornaments that your kids made. Have a great weekend.

A wonderful set of shots Julie. I went out to see the moon but there is nothing but clouds reflecting light pollution. Ah well!

The full moon this early morning was the roundest! I was blogging and missed the time.

I love your photos, everyone of them taken with an eye for observation.

Happy weekend!

That could have been a photo taken by me. Last night I noticed the full moon shining bright above the countryside. Waiting in a traffic jam I thought of taking a picture. Don’t think it would have been as clear as your’s though. Great shot.

“My favorite things” from Mary Poppins brings back memories of when our kids where so much younger.

Have a nice weekend.
