My hubby and I went to two malls today.

The first one was just a few minutes from us where we brought a muffin pan that was bought last week, to be replaced by another, smaller muffin pan. The kids were with us. We just came for what needed to be replaced and did not buy anything except a McDonald’s take-out for the children.

The second one that we went to just two hours ago, was also a few minutes from where we live. We just went there to watch a movie, the first we had alone, after over a year! The kids didn’t want to go so they just stayed behind at home.

One thing I noticed? The crowds. Yup, pre-Christmas crowd but they are window-shopping more than buying. Yes, blame it on the credit crunch and the global employment woes.

I did some buying last week, when there was a big sale at the first mall that I have mentioned. For me, one of the better ways to save is to buy items that are on sale. As they say, one can always find a best buy at www.buy.com.

If only I could order from this site and I would. Definitely, for I know a good buy when I see one ;)

Me too, I always say that I will do the shopping for gifts (especially for the kids) early but always say that every year..”Next year…”

Thanks for the visit Mai, :)

I hate shopping during the holidays. Mostly because of the crowds. I get dizzy from all the sights and smells. BUT I do it every year for the love of the giftees. :)

I agree about the sights, smells and too many people, not only do these make me dizzy but my allergies act up before I get home. But the hunt makes it more exciting. Hubby and always say we will not go back to Tutuban every year but guess what, we still do :D
