The FIlipinoMomBlog.com invites all you of moms and wives out there to showcase the lunchboxes that you prepare for your loved ones: children and husbands.

What’s in your lunchbox?

Click here if you want to join the LunchBox meme.

Here are what I have prepared yesterday:

Chicken breast fillet strips cooked with mushroom sauce and asparagus. The asparagus are beneath the chicken strips. This is my eldest daughter’s share of the lunch menu. We also had similar food in our lunchbox to bring to work, plus eggs cooked over easy as extra.

For snacks, the children had these:

This is for my eldest daughter. A slice of chocolate cake and a tetra brick of chocolate drink. She has a big water jug and two more pieces of sandwiches to go with that.

These are for the two younger children who goes with me to work. Yoghurt drinks and cake slices too. They also had some cookies and a water in a jug. We always have fruits in our lunchboxes but the grapes were not washed yet so these were not included for the Monday food-to-go.

Before my eldest daughter went to bed, I asked her what if she wants to have pan-fried pork steak for her lunch.

She declined and said she wanted the fish fillet instead. The two younger ones wanted the fish too. Tomorrow, fish fillet it will be for lunch.

The snacks should be cheese sticks which the children helped prepare by wrapping the sliced cheese but we had these fried after lunch as extra food and for our afternoon snacks.

Again, we are inviting you to join our LunchBox Meme. Thank you :)

Hello Julie! Mine’s up too! Haha. Anyway, chiffon slice keeps me company a lot of times when I have to take a bite while deep in my office work. :)

Hi Julie! We both posted about chicken fillets. Trixie takes a lot of snacks to school! But then it’s good too, para di na kailangan bumili.
Next week ano naman kaya? :)

Sometimes Trixie is the one who makes her own sandwiches. We limited having sugar-laden cookies kaya puro sandwiches na lang muna.

The usual iMom would be two or three sandwiches, a small container of breakfast cereals and/or some grapes or apple slices. Plus the lunch. If I wasn’t able to cook lunch, yung snacks lang dala niya :)

Hello Guys,

Thanks for sharing Interesting article..

I read somewhere teachers get paid six figures to teach. The article is at http://payteachersmore.com/?p=29
Do you think education will improve if teachers are paid more? I think so. This is much interesting and informative…

Well keep on Posting..

Hi Julie. I haven’t participated in this meme yet. Yohan is so picky about his snacks so most of the time I give him chips. I’ll try to join one of these days.

I like buying those cake slices too (for myself ‘coz Yohan doesn’t like it).

These are good healthy lunches julie.

My kids and I just pack sandwiches for lunch. Half an hour lang kasi ang lunch breaks dito. Sa gabi na lang kami bumabawi ng kain. :)

Chips? Basta not too salty is ok I guess. Is it ok to have it in school? In Trixie’s school the canteen for elem students do not sell chips and softdrinks.
