Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday which is coincidentally called “All Souls Day”,  is BLUE.

I have already written in another Photo Hunt post (water) about the Philippines being an archipelago with 7,107 islands, surrounded by water. Island count varies though depending if the tide is low or high  ;)

Below is a photo of a small part of the South China Sea in Zambales, the province where I grew up.

Here is another BLUE Photo Hunter entry/photo in my other blog.

Speaking of China, don’t worry, one can only taste the very salty waters here and these are melamine-free :D

The wind is a horse:
hear how he runs
through the sea, through the sky.

He wants to take me: listen
how he roves the world
to take me far away.

by Pablo Neruda

Love your photo. As for your China comment: Have to say that it’s like rubbing salt onto an already open wound. (Pun sorta intended but that should not detract from my point just the same.)

I guess if one lives in a nation of islands one is never too far from a beach. I’m sure that one brings back fond memories for you.

YSTL, i know i shouldn’t have put that but that issue had us mothers scared for our children because a lot of products being sold here in the Philippines are made in China. We buy local products though of course, the thought that these are included in the list scares us so.

The strike through sentence made us mothers really scared for our children. Even if I buy mostly locally made products, there is that chance of danger lurking unannounced.

I hope your cat is feeling better, Criz :)
