Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday is SCARY.

Just in time for Halloween but I will not focus on the theme but on a different kind of scary actions.

Watching a racing sport is both exhilarating and scary. Take a closer look at that yellow Ducati here. One wrong move and the riders may have an accident. My hubby had a minor accident in this same race track last year :(

Speaking of motorcycles, there has been a great increase in the number of motorcycle riding people here in the country. Why not, its is definitely more inexpensive than getting a car. It is also better than riding the public transportation which in itself is scary enough.

There has also been a significant increase of road accidents (and death) on a DAILY basis because riders have been irresponsible like this one:

Pardon the poor quality, we (our family and that family) were both in transit when I took the photo, plus the windows are tinted. Scary ride, isn’t it?

But what is really scary is the uncertain future. Not just the Americans but people all over the world being affected by the financial and economic meltdown. I have written a post about it here.

People are scared because the financial giants/institutions are slowly crumbling down one by one.

Is the future for you bleak and scary? Are you hopeful and positive?

By the way, I have another scary entry here.

Great post. Any kind of high speed ride scares me.

And honestly, I’m hopeful even though it is very scary on Planet Earth right now. I just think that good will prevail but it might be bumpy for a while.

Have a wonderful weekend!

I always find motorbikes very accident prone. The reason why I asked my hubby to sell ours.

Anyway, to your last question: I find the future kinda scary however I’m very positive that in HIS time everything will all improve.

Happy weekend, juls!

I always see adults on motorcycles with young children with them. They often don’t have helmets and it bothers me that they risk the kids’ safety.

Any wrong moves and turns in tracks could bring on scary aftermath for sure.
But most times, it’s also the thrills from it that keeps us screaming for more :P
Happy Weekend Julie!

So many ideas for scary here! Re motorbikes: yeah, find the way racing bikes go round the bend to be scary.. but even more the idea that little kids can be on motorbikes sans helmets.

Good post YTSL. When my son was a late teenager he wanted to buy a motorcycle. I said you can buy it but you can’t ride it, I would be terrified every time you went out. Luckily for me he did not.

Very sensible SCARY post. But motor races as such aren’t really scary. The rider of that yellow bike – if he were to skid off the road – would probably fall into the gravel and jump straight back onto his feet, trying to get his bike going again! ;)
(Can you tell that I sometimes watch bike races?? LOL!)

On public roads it’s a different story of course… that family on the motorbike – now, THAT is scary!!
