We start with journals and writing down their thoughts, observations and school events. I have seen young pupils doing comic strips of their own -- you know, with balloons for the dialogue. I am often amazed how ingenious the scripts are (not to mentiion the artwork). I forgot to add. No thanks. It is against my principles, though in my unscrupled past I have written post-grad theses for foreign students at the behest of friends or a boss. Writing can really be tricky even for the ordinary student who has no aptitude for it.
