October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month highlights awareness of people to the condition. My mother’s eldest sister died of breast cancer. A mother of my student had this but she has survived.

In celebration of October as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Avon Philippines in cooperation with the Philippine Cancer Society encourages Filipinos to join the “Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer”.

Hi Julie. Are you joining the walk? I would love to join but hubby has flu. I don’t think he will be able to drive me to MOA.

My daughter — the doc not yet — taught me how to self-examine my own breasts for lumps. I think all women should be able to do that. It’s fairly simple.

All women should be more aware of this danger. Good luck to the movement.
