One reason why my classmates went with me then was because they didn't want to spend lunch hour in school. My mother is in her small store two blocks from our house and she has her own baon and doesn't close during noon so we have the house to ourselves. My classmates would go home with me at lunchbreak, bringing their baon to eat on our table. My mom would often serve them some soup and dessert. And sometimes lunch was on the house. My classmates and I were like family members because we grew up being classmates from Kinder to HS :) In fact, two even came back from the US to attend the reunion. Bongga di ba :) I hope so too.
