We came not just for the view and fresh air, but also to bring a laptop that was a part of this balikbayan box, among other things.

These friends, my husband’s brother’s in-laws, are more like family. What a wonderful thing to hear PD tell us when he opened the door “Oh, I’m so happy to see you. Its been a long time.”

They had a visitor, an American who is staying in the country. We were able to talk briefly to him and we were surprised to hear him say several Filipino words.

When hubby and PD were setting up the laptop we brought which they had asked to buy from the US, the three men, hubby, PD and the guest started to talk the IT talk. When hubby was asked about his IT consultancy work, the first thing that came to my mind was “He should always be ready with his logistics resumes just in case something like this comes up.” That goes to me too.

Weekend was a lot of fun and it may take several posts to write what we have done and where we have been.

For now, I leave this red flower for those who took their time to visit:

Have a great week, everyone :)

my hubby’s first glimpse of pinas was tagaytay :D and he loved it there, in fact, we even scoured the area looking for possible ‘future’ homes but when he saw the rest of pinas, he became undecided :D more visits muna daw, hehe

It’s great that you were able to visit with friends and enjoy Tagaytay. Love the red flower.

About the resume, it’s easier to have a business card and have the link to the password protected resume. ;)

Tagaytay used to be my hang-out when I was working in Cavite.

The couple we visited are retirees from the US. My BIL’s Filipina MIL and her Czech husband :)

There are lots of foreigners there Raq, ok kasi ang weather.

Yes, its true, a business card is handy talaga.

Really? Tagaytay now is fast becoming like Baguio, there are so many houses na (plus those noisy K nationals).

Thanks for the visit Tina :)

Not sure if the red flower is a mum but it looks like it belong to the mum family (I am not well-versed with flower names). These friends we visited are retirees but I find them interesting and I enjoy their company. One can learn a lot from them :)
