It was supposed to be delivered Friday afternoon in my in-laws’ house but we had to go home and didn’t want the risk of the person who will deliver the package getting lost on the way to our home.
We went to get the gadget Friday around 8:30 pm but the store was already closed.
I was starting to be frustrated.
Saturday morning we sent an sms asking what time the store will open because I have a vacant schedule between 9 and 10am. They sent an sms back. 11am.
That can’t be! I am going to be extremely busy that time till 5pm and I don’t have time enough to tinker with it.
Hmph. Its as if it was not meant to be for me.
I sent another sms telling them I will cancel my order. So hubby and I started to look for that other seller in the net, that one who also lives nearby.
But, they called. Saying they are on their way to deliver my stuff.
Hooray! (If only I can put the Plurk banana dance here, I will)
Noon time, I sneaked a little time and I went to the third floor stairs and took this photo:
Then I tried to use the zoom button on the building hidden behind the trees.
I got this:
And still I tried to push the zoom button harder and got this:
Not bad for me.
Hmmm, I may get me an extension lens someday, after I have done a lot of work that will let me earn some moolah to do it, without spending what I earn from my real work.
Now, it was not just me who earned the money for this new camera. I also owe thanks to you, my supportive friends, real-life and virtual, for helping me keep the blog alive through your interactive comments and your links, of course.
I have a new gadget that makes taking photographs more fun and what more, I earned this through blogging
Which got me thinking, I still haven’t written a post about the other things that blogging has bought and paid for.
