My daughter Tania and I painted the Disney Princesses centerpiece and frame last Friday afternoon. Tania had been raving about this but we weren’t able to have the chance to do the art project. This was a gift from her Ninang Kim last Christmas :(

I tried, goodness, I tried very hard to put the chimes but I was not able to do it right. Thanks to my daughter Trixie for listening well in school and learning how to use thread and holes. If its not for her, this would have been wind chimes that won’t chime at all :D

That looks like a fun activity to do with your daughter. That’s great that she knew how to do it.

doing such projects with the kids sounds really fun.. louna’s been doing a lot of fun stuffs with the nanny but at home, she contents herself with crayons.. but little by little, she’s drawing more recognizable forms.. well, that’s already a start, right?

Hi Teacher Julie,

This reminded me to clean my own chimes at home, hehe. I have quite a collection: aluminum, bronze and bamboo.

Kakahiya nga Cess eh, siya na yung nagtake-charge. Actually, she is the one who sews small rips on the stuffed toys and on clothes. Pag sinipag :)

Crayons are good, Ana, just as long as you impose rules about the walls, if you are a bit concerned about that ever happening. You can also have her do finger painting (pudding) or painting talaga, kahit anong shape pa yan. Make sure you ask what she is drawing and write it down so that you will remember :)

Wow, Amie, those may sound magical when the wind blows. Where did you put them? Around your house?

Yes, Tita Princess, bagsak ako sa HE :D I admit, even before in HS I had a hard time with needles and thread. Sa cross-stitching, ok ako dun but the practical sewing is not really easy for me to do.

I am glad to Rachel because when I tied the chimes, they wouldn’t even move towards each other to make a sound :D
