Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday, July 5, 2008 is POINTED.
My son Julian asked me a while ago if pointed means sharp. I said yes and I wondered why he asked me that. It was because he wanted to show me that he sharpened his pencil and that it is both pointed and sharp. He asked me too if I can take a photograph of the said pencil but I had to say “No, maybe next time” because both pairs of camera batteries needed to be charged.
So here are photos from my files that show things that are pointed:
Who wouldn’t be able to recognize this three-pointed emblem? A sign of opulence and comfort, superb performance and powerful engine. Of course, Mercedes Benz. No, not our car, I took that photo from a car show
Pointed antennas on buildings with lights on top. The building on the left with yellow lights is where my hubby used to work with a telecom-related company. This is also the area where I teach.
I love to use (and I love the smell) of newly-opened crayons with pointed tips.
Pointed tip of a red chili.
I remember several bloggers asked me before what camera I use for my photos. I only have one camera and this is a Canon Powershot camera. I use the pattern program mode, and seldom use flash. I am hoping to get another camera when the time is right. Of course, its going to be the same brand too.
