Shelved under Information

I love plants and flowers but these seem to not love me back. Time and again I have always talked about not having the abilities to grow plants, especially flowering plants. Years ago, I have tried to grow orchids but these orchids just dried up on me. The after that I got my indoor plants that should thrive even without much tender loving care. Of course, these dried up too, even if I followed the proper instructions about its care. I have practically given up on having some beautiful flowers and plants indoors have it not been for the silk plants that we have in the living room, the peach-colored flowers and those yellow colored ones in the dining area. Faux plants used indoors are a great option to have around. Why? Faux trees, plants and flowers do not contain allergen that makes me have allergic reactions. The use of these decorative even if faux also decreases the likelihood of insects crawling, creeping and flying inside the house. Oh, not to mention that these do not have to be cared for and watered suit me fine. Now, I get to enjoy plants in the house without all the wasted efforts to keep these alive and well.

Hehehe. I feel the same way. I don’t have a green thumb either and my Mom always complains that her plants and the garden grass dries up whenever she leaves them to me when she goes out of town. She finally gave up and hired a gardener to tend to it whenever she’s gone.

I managed to get a cactus to flourish though. Teehee.

Hey, my brown thumb can grow greenies now. I made dish gardens last month and they are thriving. That really made me proud. Which reminds me, I bought pala okra and pechay seeds when I went to NSO. I will try to see about a vegetable patch. Ay, exciting!

But silk flowers are okay too. Gusto ko din sya. Basta hindi plastic. :)
