The day was perfect. Of course, I was late because I have work but never mind. Wenchie asked us to join her climb up the steps. We agreed. After heaving and sighing, I have reached the top with the rest. And guess what can be seen? That photo below. It was worth the traipsing of the steps! (yeah, and my legs are a little stiff till now :D but its ok) .

Such a wonderful sight greeted us up the steps. And where is this place? At the La Mesa Eco Park.

Below are the kids, having a grand time, playing around, while the moms are exchanging snippets of wisdom and bales of laughter. Though my kids are not there, still I had to take photos because they all look so wonderful.

Standing: Cess’ son Troi, Lynn’s daughter Andrea, Chateau’s kids Patchy and Nate. Sitting on the log, Cookie’s younger daughter Adie, Chateau’s VGood and Cookie’s Gaby.

Everything was perfect, even with the bees hovering on the table. Let me say this again that being bloggers, we know a lot about each other even if we don’t see each other that much. Thank you, everyone for this gift of friendship beyond blogging.

Picnic at La Mesa Eco Park

Wenchie of The Sweet Life-Rowena, Feng, Cookie of ScroochChronicles, TeacherJulie, Lynn of The MomZone, Chateau of iMomOnLine, Lady Cess of One-Twentyone.

When the rain clouds came and dumped rains, we all trooped to Wenchie’s house to continue our gabbing session. The kids disappeared and bonded together in one of the rooms upstairs. Yeah, one of the 17 rooms in the house.

Cheers! :D And let’s do this again.

It’s so sad I wasn’t able to join you guys. I could easily see how fun and memorable that day was. I’m glad the weather blessed you with sunshine. Hope I’ll get another chance to join you next time.

I got to interview Wench some time. :) Sige, sabi ko kay Chat I will join you when Andeng has begun to run around.
