Julian, hubby and I attended the iBlog4.

Some things stayed the same. Some things changed.

Last year, Julian was with me during the iBlog3 but that time, we didn’t have a blog about Tania and him and his homeschool lessons yet. Last year, Jazz was with me too, wanting to put up a photo blog but now she has started a different blog.

Last year, the topics were technical and that probably started the growth of more people earning online, including me. Not bad.

This year, though topics touched on Blogging 101 for new bloggers by Charo Nuguid ( a must-hear for newbie bloggers), turning problogger by Karlo Licudine (what?! $1000/month?), photoblogging by Juned Sunido (the gadgets are sooo cool, and of course, his photos are too!), web comics by Jonas Diego (he who designed the FilipinaImages logo), vlogging and podcasting by Aileen Apolo and Coy Caballes ( I would be shy to try to do this), Blogging and the upcoming elections by Manuel L. Quezon III, Luz Rimban and Janette Toral, legal issues discussed by JJ Disini (could have been longer since this is one very, very important issue specifically for newbie bloggers), blogging for advocacy by Noemi L. Dado and the fun and helpful blogging adventures of the Mindanao bloggers by Ria Jose (yes, they get free wi-fi all over the city)

A variety of topics for everyone. I know this is not easy to pull off but they actucally did. Kudos to the organizer. Thanks too to the sponsors :)

It was nice to see these people: Joni, Jane and her friend Chona, Dine, Alice, Noemi, Aileen, Benj, Joy, Dexter, AJ, JesterinExile and a lot of other (somewhat) familiar faces. Apologies, my eyesight is not that good when looking at faces from a distance.

Aileen, I have thought about taking a video of a learning session with a student to be able to give some help to those who are clueless about how to teach.

Thanks :)
