Yes, you can win a trip to Hollywood, USA. Travel between June to August 2008.

But of course, you have to do something great in order to win.

Join the “What’s Your Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Story?” contest by writing an essay or taking photos or making a video. How? Click the link over there for the mechanics, criteria for judging and contest prizes: What’s Your Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Story?

Summer 2008 sure is getting more exciting. Read more below:

The iBlog4 happening on April, 26, 2008 at the Malcolm Theater in UP Diliman College of Law has closed its registration days ago. To those who missed signing up, I sure hope there would be another one like this soon.

There are a lot of blog events going on here in the Philippines.

Oh, thanks so much, Wenchie for signing me up with the Spot Pass Bloggers Tour for the April 25, 2008 Trinoma Food Bloggers Trip. Here are the yummy bites we are going to get samples of. I hope I was able to get in the 100 bloggers because I was not able to check the list since they closed it down already (crossing my fingers, and knocking on wood) :D

I will really, really start dieting after this :D Promise.

The distance from where we started to where we went to was over 200 kilometers (two-way trip).

We passed through the Star Tollway, an expressway of sorts.

At last, the Batangas Racing Circuit welcome sign.

Here is another WS entry. View other WS photos here.

Have a great and productive week, everyone! :)

Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday, April 19, 2008 is 13.

I really, really had a difficult time doing this photo hunt. In fact, I’m only doing this now, early Saturday morning where I am when I am usually done Thursday evening and my post time-stamped to Saturday past 12 mn.

Anyway, here are two photos (that I have used already in this blog) taken last January 13 that I think best represent 13 for me.

That is my daughter, Trixie. She is going to be 13 years old in a few months time.

That is my husband and our children. My husband and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary yesterday.

Have a great weekend everyone :) I don’t have an entry yet in my son’s homeschooling blog, maybe I will have one later today, after work.

SEAIR has started to fly to Batanes every Tuesdays and Saturdays starting April 8, 2008.

Who wants to see Batanes for free? I do! Raise your arms if you do.

After you do that, head over to this site, write and comment and cross your fingers. No, better yet, hop, skip and turn around because who knows, you and a loved one will be able to win a pair of tickets for free! Woohoo! Read here if this seems too good to be true.

I’m done with my comment and I feel positive. I have to, I haven’t won in any raffle yet and who knows this might be IT ;)

Shelved under Information

In a span of two weeks, we have been to two car shows. The first one was an international auto show and the second one was a custom car show. My son who is a car enthusiast enjoyed going to both shows. He particularly enjoyed doing the rounds in the custom car shows since he loves playing with a game about “setting up” cars and customizing according to what he feels looks good on the car. In reality, it is probably difficult to maintain custom cars because the parts are expensive. At times, getting the item that one wants to purchase is an exhausting task. It is best to look for discount auto parts that will help maintain the budget well within reasonable spending. For expensive cars like luxury vehicle Lexus from the Japanese automaker Toyota, it is of utmost importance to get Lexus parts that are not only genuine and not too expensive but delivered free for over 50usd. Looking for auto parts that suited with one’s car need not be a hassle through DriveWire.com because this company has one of the most extensive collections of auto parts for the many different car makes that can be purchased online.

Today is a Thursday. What is so special about a Thursday? For one, this is a day that I am supposedly off from work but because of summer I have had my unusual share of scheduled sessions with my students.

Thursday too is the day that we post our photos in the Litratong Pinoy photomeme. The theme for this particular Thursday is “Apat ang Sulok Ko” or parisukat. Parisukat is the Filipino word for square or four corners. I had a fun time doing this and didn’t make much of an effort unlike my Tatsulok entry last week. My colorful Parisukat entry is here, with a wrong title :D
