Bang tagged me to do this meme: 5 things I want to teach my children before they grow up.
There are a lot of values I want to teach my children when they grow up. I have dreams of them becoming not just successful but happy as well. Some of the things I try my best to teach them are the following:
- Have faith in God.
- Prayers and hard work go hand in hand.
- Be respectful. If you respect other, they will respect you back.
- Never lose sight of their dream, but they should learn to be realistic too. They should also keep their feet firmly planted on the ground.
- Do not believe everything you hear and read.
I could add more to these but the meme says only 5 things
For added thoughts, they should know about and learn:
- self-worth,
- accepting responsibilities,
- knowing when people are taking advantage of their vulnerability as children,
- to not discriminate others because of their limitations,
- know the difference between needs and wants,
- reflect about the things happening in their lives,
- and never ran out of life.
They should remember too, not to be burdened with so many things and enjoy life with all its intricacies and simpleness because Life is a Journey.
