Yup, overtime. Aside from my 8am-6pm Saturday schedule, I had 10am-12pm review with a longtime student (can you believe that, more than 10 years). Its the last week of school for most of my students so exams are aplenty, meaning less time to blog and rest. Groan…

Have to review concepts with Julian who will have his District Achievement Test on Tuesday so I would be late visiting WS entries. Good thing I still have time to read the sequel to my WS book feature last week with the few free time I have. Should have been an all-nighter too but my time to read is limited.

Have a great week everyone :)

I haven’t been to bed, and it’s now 5AM. Good thing it’s Spring Break for my kids this week.

I still pull an allnighter, because it’s nice and quiet at night.

Hi Julie. I really admire you for your patience and hard work for teaching and reviewing your students. I too reviewed my kids this weekend and had a hard time doing it. Para akong nag-aaral ulit sa grade school. Take care.

Auee, hay, the energy is there but the temper and the headache is not encouraging :) Holy Week next week, I hope I can rest. No out-of-town trips since there’s no one to mind the homefront, wala na nga laman, baka lalo pa malimas pagbalik :D

Marcia, thanks. Work is, well, difficult, I have to do these for them. I do these reviews every March, August, October and December. Tiring but more often, its worth the efforts when the grades are in. Thanks for the visit. Hope your internet is better now :)

Ay, Rhodora, my temper is just about to flare too, for the slightest inconvenience. A student who came for a 4-6pm Saturday sked asked me why I looked tired. I told her I have been teaching since 7am and have had no free time in between. She said “But you are just sedentary, sitting the whole day” Ok, I said, but to have to deal with 7 different personalities/children before her, wouldn’t I be tired, mentally tired? Mabigat balikat ko every March, August, October and December due to these reviews. Grabe :)

Feng, sana nga, ok ang results nila. About Julian, he had the Achievement test last Wednesday. But we had a problem, he had a bad asthma attack last Sunday which lasted till Tuesday, good thing the test was postponed. Napressure yata sakin sa kakareview :( After the test yesterday, he was so happy, nawala ang wheezing.

Agring, I hope so too. My son said the test was easy, my reviewers were more difficult :) Thanks.

Bing, yes, we tend to review too, concepts that have long been buried deep in the mind when we help review the children. Their lessons today are so much harder than before. I admit, I get baffled, especially with Math concepts :D Thanks!

Maiylah, hay, grabe talaga. I don’t have test papers to grade (well, I do, with my homeschooling son) but to make reports, now that is very taxing. Julian took the test last Wednesday and he said it was easier than the reviewers I did for him. Thanks :)

Weng, thanks. Julian said the test was easier than the reviewers I had him do. He even had an asthma attack Sunday and we thought he wouldn’t be able to take the test. Na-stress and now I’m writing a post about it.

Sasha, the District Achievement Test is from DepEd in Bulacan where Julian’s home school provider is affiliated with a school there. Mandatory for all public students there and the private schools wanted a part of the action too kaya yan. I thought at first it was individualized score but it was a collective score. Julian was stressed he had an asthma attack Sunday which lasted till Tuesday. Me baong nebulizer last Wednesday when he took the test :D
