img_5454b.jpg Christian is a young student that I have been handling for about five months now. He is a sweetie. But sad to say, he is going away to stay with his parents in a Middle East country come March. I would definitely remember Christian for his endearing ways. He would always laugh out loud and genuinely seem happy whenever he sees me at the center, thinking we are going to have our time for learning, even though sometimes he has sessions with other therapists. He would always hold my hand as we walk from the waiting area to my room. He would leave his toys behind whenever I call him to go to my room. Just yesterday, he came to my room to hug me after he had his speech and language therapy session in the next room.

I will not forget what his mother told me last Tuesday about what Christian said when they visited his developmental pediatrician for a follow-up evaluation during Valentine’s Day. When the doctor asked who his teachers are, his response was: TEACHER JULIE :)

I’m going to miss you, little boy. Ok, now I have to work on your three-month Home Program for you bring to a new country. I wish you and your family the best.

  • Thanks for the kind words,Ling. They said that if there is no progress, they might have him go back here for more intervention. But I know that he will do well now that he will be living with his parents who both work overseas. Will line up this tag. Thank you.

i hope Christian finds a teacher as nice as you, teacher Julie.

  • Oh, Belle, you make me smile. I hope so too, that he would be able to adjust to a new life and new routines. Thank you :)
