Shelved under About Town, My Family, Snapshots

PinoyMomsNetwork February Family Pics theme is STRAIGHT. I have several interpretations of straight and these are:

img_0930b.jpg

Trixie with her long, straight hair looking straight ahead. I hope she is looking forward to be here when she graduates ;)

Julian looking straight at his mongo sprouts standing tall and green, which we planted a few months ago for enrichment purposes for our homeschooling Science and plants lessons.

Lots of straight lines on a pedestrian lane or ped xing. Even if there are no cars on the road, teach the children good and proper road courtesy by following road safety rules.

Finally, something yummy and definitely funny:

Meiji Yan Yan Bread sticks with Chocolate Dip. I knew I should have taken photos of the others before the children ate them. Some were really funny.

I miss UP! The pedestrian lanes shot reminded me of Beatles’ Abbey Road.

  • Oh, I will have to look up that Beatles’ Abbey Road. We usually go there for a weekend walk or picnic lunch :)

Hi Julie, nice pics. Si Trixie magdalaga na pala. Naku mag ready ka na sa mga suitors…he he.Btw, ok project Julian in Science huh. Will show this post to Pio.

  • Thanks, Wenchie, yup, nagdadalaga na nga and she is getting mature na, kahit pano but tends to be very persistent. Hay, sometimes I wish they wouldn’t grow up muna. We had a lot more projects like paper folding and art work but I haven’t written posts about it yet. Thanks for the visit, kahit busy ka :)

Great pics, Julie! Love Trixie’s shot!

  • Thanks, Mary, she doesn’t know that. She doesn’t like being photographed these days kaya puro ganyan ang kuha ko. Told them I’m not going to post their photos anymore, especially when their faces can be seen so my photos would be a little different when they are there. Thanks for the visit :)

Lovely photos. Hope Trixie will be able to go to her dream campus.

I remember as a child I was fascinated with my mongo plant growing. I think Yohan will be fascinated with it too. Thanks for the inspiration. I’ll ask my hubby to buy some mongo seeds. :)

I totally agree about teaching our children about the importance of using the Pedestrian Lane. I wrote an article about it for our village newsletter just recently..

  • Trixie is already thinking about college though she is unsure yet what she will study. Julian asked me yesterday when we would plant the mongo seeds again, told him we will soon, but we might even use the space outside so that these will grow better. Safety is a concern yes, and we need to teach this early on. Thanks :)
