Red ants? Ooouch!!! When I was young I often got biten by red ants from the mango tree I climbed. They’re small but their bite is definately not ’small’ in pain. LOL

• These are bigger than the ordinary “house ants”. I used to climb trees to when I was younger but I make sure there were no ants there

• Thanks! These are slightly bigger ants than the usual, Mary. I used macro mode, cropped the photo and zoomed the cropped part before I posted. Oh, I also just use smaller number of pixels for easier loading/viewing.

Ewww. I don’t like ants. They hurt when they bite. I actually don’t think that is a shot of “love” though. But its a great close up.
