Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday, January 19, 2008 is IMPORTANT.

There are a lot of important persons, things, places, and events in every person’s life. I believe that everything we hold important reflects on our personalities, our belief system and our values. Below are some representation of things that are important for me.

TIME is GOLD, so they say. We must remember that we can’t turn back the clock.

PROPER PLANNING AND FORESIGHT saves time, especially during a holiday’s eve.

MY COUNTRY, my heritage, helped define who I am.

MY FAMILY and our BONDING TIME.

What a great post full of important things. Were you going on a picnic with your family in the photo?
Sara from farmingfriends

  • Yup, we had a picnic lunch there, Sara. The place is in the middle of the premier state university here in the Philippines and in the midst of a bustling city. Thanks for the visit :)

Excellent choice for “important”!!! I love the fact that your country and heritage defines who you are….great take.

Mine’s posted, drop by for a visit if you can find time.

  • Anni, a lot of fellow Filipinos seem to take these things for granted, especially the country and heritage part. I don’t want my children to feel that way too. Thanks for the visit. :)

Julie, great choices for this week’s theme :)

  • Thanks, Napaboaniya. I specifically like the line about my country and heritage since I feel a lot of young people do not make feel these are important. :)

Hi Julie!
That chaotic supermarket scene is very familiar! haha
I love the clock photo, galing mo ah!

  • Chateau, I usually avoid that supermarket scene. Kaka-stress. Actually that was December 31, I just went to Cherry to pay some bills, no need for me to line up down there since I already went there two-three days earlier. Had a hard time taking a photo of the clock. Open face yan, made of ceramics kaya ganyan :)

Hi Julie. These are great symbols for things that are important to you. Thank you for sharing them.

  • That theme was a good one, I could have placed a lot more photos and I had to stop myself from doing so :D

Those are all so important. I like the way you include your country and its part in who you are.

  • Liz, here in the Philippines,a lot of young people take for granted their country and heritage  but whether they like it or not, it is a part of who they are and what they will become. I don’t want my children to grow like that too. Thanks for the visit :)

yung grocery, cherry yan diba? :)

  • Yup, San Nicolas de Tolentino, where we usually go if not, sa UP naman. The Cherry scene was December 31 and was I glad to do my grocery buying two-three days before that. Just went there to pay some bills. Do you go to Cherry Cess?

Julie, you did a beautiful job of capturing so many important things in life. And thank you for stopping by Pollywog Creek. Your visits there are important to me! Blessings, dear friend.

  • Patricia, I could have put a lot more but had to stop myself, lol! These are the most important and when I posted these, I was quite satisfied. Thanks for visiting :)
