Every Saturday participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday, January 12, 2007 is SKINNY.

Skinny used to be a word that described me as a young girl. But not anymore. Since I don’t have any thing on me anymore that can best be described as skinny, I thought of posting two photos that I have with something skinny on them. Here they are:

img_5908b.jpg

A dragonfly has a skinny tail.

img_6471b.jpg

A skinny blue starfish.

Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Beautiful pics,Julie! re: Skinny legs..lol If that so, everyone here in Japan has anorexia then,eh? haha But guess what, Japanese lives longer than most people in the world! :D

  • Thanks for the visit Yen. Yup they live longer up to 81 years old and beyond, I hear those stats about life expectancy rate from my son Julian everyday (he has memorized some among other stat data he loves to tell us). Maybe looking like that is not very appealing to me. Iba-ba tayo ng type. Hay, but then I wouldn’t mind being less fleshy than I am now :D

I have never seen a dragonfly like that! Where did you take that beautiful picture?

  • Took that photo in the small patch of land with plants in front of my inlaws house. I do not really fancy those big dragonflies when I used to catch them when I was younger. These are scary to me. :) Thanks for the visit and have a great weekend!

Tutubing karayom would have made a skinner subject. But I guess it wouldn’t be as photogenic as the dragonfly.

Why didnt you publish your pic as a skinny teenager?

  • I haven’t seen tutubing karayom since  was a young child. Matter of fact, I’m guessing a lot of city children have seen even that big a dragonfly. My photo as a skinny teen? Ay maryosep! Before I was a teen, I even had space between my skinny legs kahit magkadikit na :D
