Shelved under Snapshots, Weekend Snapshots

My daughter and I worked together to finish her Math Word Problems Scrapbook. The scrapbook has been done since last week. Trixie made 15 Math Word Problems each for Direct Proportion, Indirect Proportion and Partitive Proportion topics.

Today, we printed the word problems which I encoded. After I cut the printed materials, Trixie put these together in the scrapbook.

We used her beads, buttons and a gift bag’s handle. Here is the Math Scrapbook for her Damath Project which she will bring to school tomorrow:

have a good week ahead, Julie!

  • Thess, she got a grade of 95 :) It is nice to work on projects that are not rushed. Not like those “Mom-I-need-to-pass-a-hundred-page-report-tomorrow” kind.

You’re an inspirational mom.Great job!

  • thanks, Sandy. It makes a “world”of difference if projects like these are prepared in advance and not the day before it is due. :)

A lovely scrapbook. I used to help my kids with their projects. It’s fun and quality time with them. ^-^

  • Yes, it is a funtime doing these, especially if there is enough time and not the kind that one needs to pass the next day, eh? She got a grade of 95 here.

It looks beautiful! congratulations on a wonderful joint project!

  • Thanks Mar. With time to look for the “scraps” and time to conceptualize, she was able to come up with this. For me, I don’t like the “I-need-this-project-tomorrow” statement. ;)

Ang ganda ng scrap book. gives the impression math is sweet and fun. :)

  • She got a 95 in that scrapbook AM. She is not too keen with Math and warms up with the idea of getting a summer Math tutorials for Algebra next SY. For me, give me a kid with learning problems, just don’t let me teach Algebra and the likes to those without these problems :D
