We are off to Iba, Zambales in a few hours for me to attend my alma mater’s Grand Alumni Homecoming. Here I studied from Kindergarten to Senior High School under the tutelage of nuns, priests and a variety of teachers.

First four batches coordinator is my aunt, my father’s youngest sibling. Coordinator for batches 95-99 is my brother. Where does that leave me? Try 85-89. My, how time flies so fast.
Here I have friends and classmates, even if I don’t get to see often, are like brothers and sisters to me because we have grown up together, shared our dreams, laughters, fears, triumphs, failures, and joys.

Hi, Julie,
This post reminds me of that last vacation I had when I met with my high school classmates. It was fun and our stories never ended. It seemed like only yesterday that we went our own ways. How was your Christmas in your hometown? It must have been doubly fun.
I’m wishing you and yours the best, healthiest, happiest and most prosperous 2008.
Tita

  • Thank you for the greetings, Tita Princess. We spent Christmas at home, we can’t leave the house unattended, even for an overnight stay at my parents’ home. The reunion was fun, though not a lot from our batch came since we just had a grand batch reunion two years ago, still it felt good seeing familiar (and unfamiliar/younger batches) faces. During the reunion, it was as if we are not the professionals we are, we were just the same students we were, years ago. I wish you and your family the best in 2008! :)
