Every Saturday, participant post photos based on a theme. The theme for the last Saturday of 2007, December 29, is MESSY.

Every first Monday of the month, in an e-zine called Pinoy Moms Network (Pinoy is slang for Filipino) where I am a writer/contributor, we have Family Pics sharing. December’s theme was MESSY. Please click below to view a little of our messy home but happy family life with my fun and messy entries:

Below is a photo of how the living room looked like during Christmas 2007 morning after the children opened some of their gifts on Christmas eve:

My apologies if I can’t sneak some time to visit today, we travel to my hometown in about 3 hours or so (around 3am) to attend my school’s Alumni Homecoming Event.

I wish everyone a Happy New Year. May you be blessed more with love, joy and peace of mind for the coming 2008. Thank you for the wonderful stories behind your photos, for the kind words in your comments and for the virtual friendship shared through our photos.

  • It was a real mess so they were asked to gather all the mess after I took the photo, I wasn’t able to put their photo doing that, lol!

  • Ay, Rachel, yes, they had fun opening the presents. They gathered everything and put these in a big trash bag after I took that shot. I am glad that Yohan is fine already.

  • Yup, they had fun opening the presents and did not protested when I asked them to clean up the mess in the morning. :D Wishing you the best in 2008 ZJ.

I think that’s the usual scene on every home during Christmas mornings. Great shot Teacher Julie.

  • Fun time it was, Pat. The reunion was great too. It was fun seeing friends that I grew up with. Most of those who came in our batch were classmates from kinder to fourth year in high school :D Wishing you the best in 2008!

  • Yes, it was a happy Christmas and they were still happy that no protests were heard when they were asked to clean up after the photo was taken :D The reunion was fun too,thanks. Wishing you the best in 2008!
