It was my daughter Tania’s 5th Birthday yesterday and we were invited to attend hubby’s cousin’s lunch for her daughter Sofia Arwen’s Baptismal lunch reception at the Windmills and Rainforest venue.

Food was delicious, I was so hungry that I was only able to pause and take a photo of one of the desserts that I had (had one too many, :D ), a mango and banana crepe with dark chocolate from the Chocolate Fondue Fountain.

Mango and Banana together? You know that super cloud-nine feeling the first and the last bite?

Can’t resist to have another one. Naka-ilan ka?

Yum!

  • K, :D I wrote one of the desserts I had, meaning had other desserts besides that. The kids kasi got leche flan and pandan jelly which they didn’t finish so hubby and I ate what they didn’t. I ate just one crepe ;)

i tell daddy i want to eat the food. daddy says only in philipines..is it far? Merry Christmas

  • Benghui, that crepe is easy to make, just ask Daddy Bengbeng to help you make the crepe and you can put different fillings inside like fruits and even cheese. For the syrup, you can probably get the chocolate or strawberry flavor that is usually put on top of ice cream. Here is a basic crepe recipe. Have fun and tell me if you were able to make some. The Philippines is not far from Malaysia but from Kuching, you need to go to KL to get a flight going to Manila and I read that this will take around 5 hours. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas holiday. Take care :)
