As mothers, we all are very familiar with mess. In lighter “offenses” we deal with messy hands and messy faces. In heavier “offenses” we deal with messy bedrooms and a messy house.
I will start with a messy face:
Tania during her second birthday celebration. I guess I am “lucky” in a way that my children are somewhat clean, judging by the rolls of tissue we consume in this household.
A messy/cluttered living room when we cleaned the library and got rid of the unnecessary and outdated things there, a month ago. These were moved back to the library a few days after the photo was taken.
Messy leaves in the yard. We have several trees outside and the leaves fall down every year from October-December. These feel like we have Fall Season but the mess it makes is so expensive. How so? We have someone coming over to clean every week and it costs some money to pay her services. This photo was taken when we left the house for some R&R and we left the mess in the living room in the above photo.
If there is one thing that makes mess which is very much welcome to my children, it would be this:
Our house is a little messy but we have come to live with this mess, having no maids to pick up after us. We try to clean up after ourselves and we have learned not to rely on anybody to do these tasks for us (except the yard work which I really don’t fancy much). This is not easy but we are learning everyday.
