We were supposed to watch this:

Cat in the Hat Musical. But when I called the TriNoMa concierge early in the morning, she told me that all seats were taken. Sigh. We were supposed to get tickets a day before the show. How could I have known? We were supposed to go there Friday evening for dinner but traffic was heavy because it was a holiday so we did not proceed.

The musical happened on that stage on the lower left of the photo. At least we got to see the show here, a few weeks ago.

When we asked what the kids wanted to do, they chose to stay here:

Stayed in the house we did, behind closed door. We had a wonderful home-cooked lunch and dinner, watched DVD, played chess and computer games and cleaned the living room.

  • It sure feels nice to just stay in, free from being tired and free from unexpected expenses. Thanks, BM. By the way, I tagged you: What is Christmas To You?

Sounds like a good weekend. I like the way you showed photographs of what you were supposed to do and then ended with your front door. Sometimes staying in can be as fun as going out.

  • Re staying in as fun, that is so true. At least one is safe and relaxed. Thanks, Carver :)

My daughter and my nephews opt for home more often than not! I guess that’s a very good thing.

That mall looks like quite a spectacular place.

  • We do feel nice when they choose that, Sandy. Sometimes when we go out, they would just like to buy take out food to be eaten at home, :D Yep, that is a new and spectacular mall with lots of live plants and water works. Thanks!

Ohh love your door ha..Ohh that a big bummer, I will hate it if that happened to me “I’m sure you’ve been itching to watch that show”..No place like home!.. thanks for the visit! ;)

  • Re door, thanks, Liza. We saw the show a few weeks back but we would have wanted to see it again up close this time but such was not what happened. That mall is just a few minutes from our place and we probably would not catch the show in Makati this weekend. Too far. Thanks :)

I LOVE Trinoma! though I’ve only been there once. I love that it is huge and has really spacious ground floor for the kids to play and run around. Will definitely go back there this Christmas :D

  • Good thing with that mall is it is not too small for every one to bump into each other because of the design. Thanks, Yette :)

Have a good week ahead, Julie!

  • We did had a perfect weekend. Maybe because I bring the kids with me to work and they have already had their fill of “going out” even if we don’t really go to the malls. They would really prefer staying in during weekends :)   Thanks Thess, have a great week too.

Haven’t been to Trinoma yet, maganda pala. Happy Tuesday!

  • Try going there on a weekday. Even if there are lots of people, you don’t get to see them much, not like the rectangular designs of the other malls. Thanks :)

Great photos! I especially loved the garland on your main door ;)

  • Thanks, Liza. That garland we have had for years already :)
